M.'.W.'. Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mato Grosso, Brother José Carlos welcomed the participants and officially opened the programming of work of the Third Masonic Meeting. The meeting began with a lecture of the Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of the State of Goiás, who is also President of the CMSB, Brethren Ruy Rocha de Macedo.
The theme chosen by the speaker was "The Masonic Belief". Ruy Rocha began questioning how many are those who "are" Masons. The questioning enabled the Grand Master of Goias to conduct a thorough definition of the subject, always guided by the pillars and principles that guide the Masonic Order: Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.

"We will never be free unless we are fraternal", recalled Brother Ruy Rocha. The speaker also greyhound that Freemasonry is not and never was a company, cooperative or system of government. Commenting on the current Masonic behavior he noted that the process starts in the candidate's nomination. In this case, according to Ruy Rocha, the "godfather" depends on a key role.

"It started in the hands of the future of Freemasonry", said the speaker. After stating that "the invitation is one of the most important acts in the Masonic life", Ruy Rocha added that the tenderer has to make it clear to applicants that the basic conditions to be a Mason are: wanting to change and willing to learn, because only then, he, the neophyte, will become a true Mason. Ruy Rocha also noted that Freemasonry receives from its ranks of free men and morals, but that it is necessary for a candidate who indicates that the clarification, that the mission of any Mason, regardless of its evolution in the Order, is always seeking perfection and the construction of their inner temple.

Ruy Rocha received a standing ovation by the participants of the meeting. The next speaker will be Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mato Grosso, Brother José Ferreira Leite, who was invited by the organizers of the meeting to discuss matters of interest to the two Powers-sisters. Soon after the M.'.W.'. Grand Master of Mato Grosso, Brother José Carlos de Almeida closed the morning schedule of meetings. The talks will be resumed from two o'clock (local time).
